The SYMBOL MACHINE is comprised of English language words and concepts, math and physics equations, biochemistry diagrams, electromagnetic sin wave schematics, etc.   The SYMBOL MACHINE equivalent are basic college textbooks in math and science  that may be found in any  bookstore  or a bookstore near a university.

There is a sense in which we all live in two worlds.

Thus we have the source domain of SYMBOL LIFE and thought that may get mapped to the destination range of physical biology with human activities of the geography surface of EARTH. 

In addition, we have the concept of  Nature's brain feedback systems  ... and messages for society.








Thus we see how symbols, words, concepts written in news articles of magazines may contain subset CRYPTIC messages.

A good home reference library comprised of basic math and science  college textbooks .... is very useful in understand newspapers in year 2014.

These books are available thru any bookstore or college bookstore.

Non-college students are encouraged to build a home reference library as adults ...... make it a hobby ..... that you are like a modern  modern Sherlock Holmes and these are your  SYMBOL  analysis tools.    

Welcome to modern amateur detective methods.

1) a major newspaper article ... that may need to be decoded and explained

2)  your brain, the experience of your age ( fifty years old or more .... but younger thinkers are allowed in),  AND  your biochemistry, math, physics, genetics,  philosophy , etc ...books in your reference library 

3) a  few pads of paper  ... make notes ...... identify keywords ,,,,, draw flowcharts ....and think of the deeeper levels of REALITY that where displayed by the crime or accident or news happening.
